Our Submission Process

The AMIG Underwriting Process

Our industry expert staff of Underwriting professionals diligently vet all the submissions that we receive from our agent and broker partners. Properly and fully completed applications allow us to proceed more quickly with our underwriting process, eliminating costly delays and enables us to provide you with timely, accurate and responsive quote proposals.

AMIG seeks to provide coverage for as many lines of business for an account as possible, consistent with our defined risk appetite and underwriting guidelines. Click here to view our Workers Compensation appetite.

Submission Requirements

  • Five (5) years of currently valued loss runs
  • Accounts valued > $100k in annual premium should be submitted at least 60-90 days in advance of the expiration date
  • Accounts valued < $100k in annual premium should be submitted at least 30 days in advance of the expiration date
  • New business submissions will not be accepted sooner than 120 days in advance of the expiration date
  • All completed submission forms must be sent to newbusiness@americanminingnull.com

Workers Compensation

  • Acord 125 - Application Information Section
  • Acord 130 - Workers Compensation Information Section - including a brief narrative of operations
  • American Mining Workers Compensation Supplemental Application - Excel or PDF
  • Experience Modification Worksheets - copies of the current year and prior year Emod worksheets
  • Drivers List - a current drivers list for Haulers and any other account with significant automobile fleet or powered haulage exposure

New Ventures/Start Ups

  • In addition to the above information, we require personal bios/resumes of the principals and copies of the formal business plan and pro-forma financial projections
